BACKHOE LOADERS

A backhoe loader is an earth-moving machine that consists of a wheel tractor fitted with a bucket on the front and a small backhoe on the back. A backhoe has a two-limbed arm with a digging bucket on its end. The limbs are called the boom and the dipper; the dipper holds the bucket. The two stabilizer legs are just behind the rear wheels. They are crucial to backhoe operation because they take the brunt of the weight when a backhoe is digging.

Backhoe-loaders can be used for a wide variety of tasks: construction, small demolitions, light transportation of building materials, powering building equipment, digging holes, levelling earth, loading trucks, breaking asphalt and paving roads. Due to its relatively small size and versatility, backhoe-loaders are very common in urban constructions projects.
